Original 36″ x 72″ acrylic painting Birch Meadow High by Beth Moorhead was painted in the studio in Minneapolis. The artist used various reference pictures to depict a late afternoon day walking through the forest and approaching a birch meadow. The artist hopes when viewing this work you feel a sense of belonging, or one with nature. Prior to laying paint on canvas, Beth first starts with a charcoal rendering of the image.
